We tend to spend a good chunk of time in the kitchen and bathrooms since they need the most love. In here, we’ll take care of the main surfaces — counters, cabinet faces, large appliance exteriors, the sink area, and inside the microwave. We’ll also wipe down any small appliances that stay out, like the toaster or coffee maker.
As part of your initial deep clean, we also vacuum the tops of your cabinets — if you’d like us to include that, just a heads-up: we ask that the tops be cleared of any décor or items so we can get right to it and stay on schedule.
As part of our regular visit, we’ll tidy up the bed or beds — think smoothing out wrinkles, straightening pillows, and making the room feel refreshed.
If you’d like to have a full bedding change, please lay your clean bedding on the bed as a way to notify us that you'd like them changed. If we see fresh linens, we will strip the bed, put on fresh sheets, and place the soiled ones in your laundry room.
We’ll give the bathrooms a thorough cleaning — that includes scrubbing the sinks, faucets, counters, tubs or showers, toilets, and floors. We’ll also wipe down cabinet faces, mirrors, and any open shelves.
If you keep items out on the counter, we’ll tidy those up as we clean underneath. Let us know if there are any areas you'd prefer we skip or handle a certain way.
Do you have any pets we should know about — like dogs, cats, or other furry (or feathery!) friends?
To help prevent cross-contamination between homes, we like to use certain tools that stay specific to your space — especially things like vacuums and toilet brushes. Do you have a vacuum cleaner and/or toilet brush we can use during your clean?
If they say no, you can follow with: No problem at all! We can bring our own — we just like to ask first so we can do what’s best for your space and for hygiene.
